Bette Martin began her career in the interior design industry. She received her certification in Interior
and Environmental Design from the University of California, Los Angeles. While studying at UCLA,
Bette developed a keen awareness of how effective design and organization can improve everything.
Organizing is detail oriented, requires prioritizing skills and needs to be aesthetically pleasing much
like design. This passion eventually evolved from Indulgence Design into Necessary Indulgence Professional Organizing. Since 1990, Bette and her team have provided organizing, space planning
and relocation services to individuals, small businesses and corporations. She is a member of the
National Association of Professional Organizers and Toastmasters International. |

Bette has appeared in national and local media including E Entertainment,
HGTV, Lifetime TV, The Gabrielle Show (NBC), Los Angeles Times, Beverly Hills Courier and Valley Magazine.
She is a contributor to Organizing Plain and Simple and Organizing Options and is the author of alternatives, an organized reference tips booklet of remedies.
